In the context of digital literacy in the family, Reny Haning, ChildFund International’s Child Protection and Advocacy Specialist in Indonesia emphasized that it is important for parents to place children as subjects in conveying digital literacy.

“Parental control alone is not enough, in our opinion, it is not enough. So, there must be really sitting together, discussing together what the do’s and don’ts are with the children. And it must be continuously reviewed together with the children,” said Reny.
